Review: The trainers at Sweat Equity are very knowledgeable. They understand your concerns and thoughtfully work with you to achieve those goals. They’re also smart about recognizing what improvements your body needs that you may not have identified. For example, the trainers have focused on improving my posture. They keep their equipment in good repair and maintain a clean workout space. I’ve continued going there for over 2 years. Good gym.

Review: I’ve been coming to this gym for a few years and I highly recommend it. As someone plus size, I had a lot of anxiety revolving around exercise, but the trainers here are all knowledgeable and kind and make the experience positive.I have some mobility issues and they work to adapt all the exercises to better suit me. The times are also very flexible and fit well within my crazy schedule. It’s a great personal experience.

Review: I’ve been training at Sweat Equity for the last few months and I must say I truly enjoy it. All the trainers are very helpful, super nice, professional and super informative. They really know what they’re doing and I always leave the gym satisfied with my workouts. The space is super clean and all the equipment is up to par. The gym is conveniently located between my job and home, which I love. Keep up the great work guys!

Review: Glen who is the owner is amazing but unfortunately one of the trainers here seriously injured my back & I now have daily chronic back pain. I’d been going to sweat equity for awhile & had said repeatedly I only wanted to work with one specific trainer but was constantly put with a different trainer I didn’t want to work with. On the day of my injury this trainer I didn’t want to work with had me doing squats lifting far heavier than I had before, I told him it was too heavy for me but he pushed me to “only do 10 reps”. For reference I weigh 140 & he had me lifting 135, almost my entire body weight. I tried to do the 10 reps & only about 4 reps in my back completely gave out, I couldn’t get the bar back up & knew instantly I was hurt. The trainer told me it couldn’t be too bad because I wasn’t crying (not how back injuries work). The next few days the pain became worse & worse. It has been 4 months now & I have chronic back pain every day. Some days even just walking is too painful. It has effected my job which requires I be active. I’ve been to the doctor & chiropractor & nothing helps. I had to switch to a more expensive health insurance because of this & my doctor says the next step is trying cortisol shots. This has cost me so much time & money & pain. If you’re paying for a private training session you should be able to trust the trainers. I hate to put one star & write this review but it’s really not okay that a trainer can do this to someone.
